As an avid Fixer Upper fan, I had been dying to visit Magnolia Market at the Silos in Waco, TX since it opened. This fall, I finally got the opportunity to visit on our way home from San Antonio. Let’s just say I was overly excited and really hoped I would run into my idol, Joanna. While I didn’t meet Joanna, we had a wonderful time. I can’t wait to visit again!
Yes, we are those people. We also had to stop at another Fixer Upper spot, Common Grounds. An adorable couple who appeared on the show owns the shop. I ordered a seasonal special and my hubby went with a good ole cappuccino. My espresso loving husband gives it two thumbs up. We grabbed a seat on the back patio and Jack ran around near the stage. We even saw a Waco Tour come through. Who knew that even existed? Ha! There is a homemade ice cream shop next door. We will definitely try it out next time.
Magnolia Market at the Silos
Next stop, Silos! Parking was a little crazy, but I hear there is A LOT of free parking now. That definitely makes things easier. We took our time exploring the market filled will all of the best Fixer Upper decor. There were even samples of Joanna’s gorgeous rugs. I really need to get one of those. Next, headed out to the lawn. There were lawn pillows, swings, balls, and cornhole boards set up. The boys played while Birdie and I explored the rest of the grounds.
Everything was gorgeous and perfect as you would expect. My favorite area was the Seed Supply. I wanted to sit down and read a good book in the garden. How adorable is this fairy garden? I can’t wait to make one with Birdie one day. For lunch, we enjoyed an awesome burger from one of the local food trucks set up in near the lawn and wrapped up at Silos Baking Co. Please, do yourself a favor and get the lemon lavender cupcake. SO GOOD. Have you been to the Silos? I’d love to hear about your trip too!
