Oh, sleep. We all need you, but sometimes it seems impossible to get a full night of rest. Whether it’s getting your kids to sleep or yourself to sleep, these blends are sure to help!
How they work
First off, you may be wondering how it all works. I add essential oils and water to my diffuser, then turn it on before bed. I do the same for the kids. It creates a relaxing atmosphere and helps us all wind down in the evenings. When you breathe in essential oils, molecules are entering your nose and being absorbed into your bloodstream. This method is a great starting point that can be a quick and easy way to receive the benefits of essential oils. Want to learn more about why I use and love essential oils? Click here.
You do need to take in consideration that not all essential oils are created equally. Some are completely synthetic and will not benefit you in any way. Others may have additives or may be diluted. Be sure to choose high-quality essential oils. I personally love Young Living. See more about the Young Living kit here.
Essential oils can increase melatonin levels and promote deep relaxation. So, get yourself on the oily train and try out some of my favorite essential oil diffuser blends for sleep.
