I am so excited to share our Southern Living Sugarberry Cottage kitchen with you all! If you didn’t know, my husband and I did all of the interior painting. It was such a labor of love and took us weeks! Luckily, we used a high-quality paint that looks good even with amateur painters doing all the work :). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t easy and painting isn’t for everyone but it turned out wonderfully!
I spent months obsessing over the kitchen paint color until one day I saw a gorgeous green kitchen on Pinterest. I loved it so much but was sure my husband wouldn’t go for a bold hue. I’m mean, green is a little crazy right? It took me two weeks to show it to him and I was pleasantly surprised when he LOVED it! We started researching colors and decided on Rocky River (SW 6215) by Sherwin-Williams. We used the Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel for all of the trim in our home. The color makes a statement without being too bold and overbearing.
Since we are not professional designers, we had the most difficult time deciding on a stain color. The stain was the last thing we picked and was finished a week before we moved in. NOT standard by any means haha! A big shout out to my husband for picking the perfect color!! It’s also from Sherwin-Williams.
I love the black granite composite sink and the matching commercial style faucet. We also wanted to tie in the black with the glass wall sconce. You can find our salt and pepper shakers here.
These stunning chairs are from inmod. These are counter height but come in a barstool as well. I absolutely love them! They are the perfect addition to our Sugarberry Cottage kitchen and the quality is great.
I was in love with the look of cone pendants but didn’t want to drop $400 for one. I found these for under $130.
